Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 2026

A shared network only stays fast and reachable if everyone uses it in good faith. This policy keeps the gateways healthy for everyone routing through them.

01Scope

This policy applies to all traffic that exits through wgorch gateways and to every device on your account. Breaking it can lead to rate limiting, suspension, or termination — proportionate to the problem and how quickly it's resolved.

02Don't break the law

Don't use the service for anything unlawful in the jurisdictions you or your exit region touch: distributing malware, trafficking in stolen data, infringing others' rights, or facilitating fraud. You're responsible for your traffic.

03Don't attack or abuse others

Through our network, don't:

  • Launch denial-of-service attacks, port scans, or intrusion attempts.
  • Send spam or operate abusive bulk-messaging or credential-stuffing campaigns.
  • Attempt to bypass another service's security controls or access it without authorization.

04Protect the network

Don't try to overload, probe, or subvert the control plane or gateways, circumvent your plan's device_limit or region rights, resell access without agreement, or interfere with other customers' routing. Automated abuse of the API is included here.

05Keys and accounts

Don't share credentials in ways that evade plan limits, and don't submit keys or device registrations you aren't entitled to use. Since your private key stays on your device, keeping it and your account secure is your responsibility.

06Enforcement

When we can, we'll warn you and give you a chance to fix an issue. For active harm — an ongoing attack, a legal demand, or a threat to network integrity — we may suspend the offending device or account immediately. We aim to be proportionate and to restore access once the problem is resolved.

07Reporting

If you believe someone is abusing the network, tell us through the support page with as much detail as you can. Reports about active abuse are prioritized.
